Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary is a must-visit for animal lovers in Jacksonville. This non-profit provides a forever home for rescued tigers and other exotic animals. On a daytime guided tour, you’ll learn about each animal’s story, their unique personalities, and the sanctuary’s mission to rescue and care for them.

🦁 For an extra special visit, check out their Night Feeding Tours on Fridays and Saturdays. Watch as the big cats devour up to 600 pounds of food. The staff will also share fascinating facts about each species! 🥩✨

💵 Cost: Daytime tours start at $12 for kids and $15 for adults. Night Feedings are $15 for kids and $20 for adults.

✈️ Throwback Thursday! Finding remains of a plane crash while exploring this hidden trail we found at GTM Research Reserve! 👀 SAVE this post for your next adventure 💌

Tucked away in the back of the parking lot, the Hammock Trail was an exciting discovery for us—and finding a plane crash site along the way made it even more interesting. Though the trail itself is only about a five-minute walk, you can head to the beautiful beach afterward to relax and enjoy the scenery. Don’t forget bug spray, as this area can get a little buggy.
